Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer super hit film My Name Is Khan marked 11 years today. Now, after Karan Johar, superstar Shah Rukh Khan has taken to his Twitter handle to share a heartfelt post to celebrate the milestone. The star has also shared a cool selfie of him along with the post. And as usual, his post is witty which can make you laugh in no time. He has mentioned in his post that ‘‘celebrating ‘X’ number of years of a film on social media is more like yearly birthday wish.’

In the picture, SRK can be seen looking intensely at the camera and flaunting his grey beard look. While sharing the same, he wrote, “Find celebrating ‘X’ number of yrs of a film on social media repetitive , as its become more like a yearly birthday wish rather than a milestone. But just saw #11YearsOfMyNameIsKhan  and felt like saying, I think everybody involved with the film did a very fine job of it.”

Take a look at Shah Rukh Khan’s latest post here:

The film was released 11 years ago today. Ace filmmaker Karan Johar directed the film while the story and screenplay were written by Shibani Bhatija.

Today, Karan also penned a special note for the team and thanked Shah Rukh Khan for being the soul of the film. His note read as, “All we have is our stories and this one will be cherished forever. Thank you bhai for being the soul of this film. Kajol for being an unbreakable rock to Rizwan and us. To Shibani for writing a story that is still relevant in today's world... And to the entire team that embarked on this challenging journey together. I will always be grateful to each and every one of you (sic).”

Apart from SRK and Kajol, the film also starred Zarina Wahab, Jimmy Sheirgill, Vinay Pathak, Sonya Jehan, Arjun Mathur and others.
