 Sidharth Malhotra, who is currently shooting for his upcoming film Mission Majnu in Lucknow, has several other interesting projects on his platter. The actor will be also seen in films like Thank God with Ajay Devgn, Shershaah alongside rumoured girlfriend Kiara Advani and Aankhen 2. Now recently, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Sidharth has opened up about working in various genres, going back to the sets amid Covid 19 scare and more. The actor confirmed that he likes to mix up genres.

When asked whether he got enough opportunities to prove his talent till date or not, Sidharth said he loves to watch both light-hearted films with a nice message or action thrillers. “Whether the makers have tapped into my talent or not is subject to film-to-film and the audience,” he added. He further elaborated that he thinks there should be more concentration on the stories first and then definitely the execution, because if either of them falters, then the projects don’t work. Thus, he is excited to work on both Thank God and Mission Majnu because of their genres and definitely the filmmakers that have come on board.

Sidharth also said that now he is ‘happy, satisfied and excited’ as an actor and a creative person. “Inder (Kumar, director) ji has done an immense amount of light-hearted films and he too is doing a new avatar with Thank God, with me, Ajay, and Rakul,” the actor stated. The 36-year-old also said that he thinks Mission Majnu is a great, inspiring story of India’s history and it is being helmed by a very experienced ad filmmaker.

Talking about stepping out for work amid the ongoing pandemic, he said he didn’t step out during the extreme time of the pandemic. “Luckily touchwood I’ve not been directly affected by the virus, but I’m kind of beyond apprehensions,” he added. Sidharth said one can do a lot to keep their immunity up, have a good lifestyle, a great diet and keep your body clean.
