The gorgeous Priyanka Chopra and the handsome Farhan Akhtar are two of the most talented actors in the Hindi film industry. The two shared screen space for the very first time in the 2015 comedy drama Dil Dhadakne Do, also featuring Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma. Directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, the film saw Priyanka and Farhan play the roles of best friends who were in love with each other.

The two will be collaborating once again for The Sky Is Pink, in which they will play a married couple. Directed by Shonali Bose and co-produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Ronnie Screwvala and Priyanka Chopra, the film also features Zaira Wasim and Rohit Suresh Saraf. It revolves around the true story of a couple who have been together for 25 years, narrated by their teenage daughter Aisha Chaudhary, who was diagnosed with a terminal illness.

Filmmaker Shonali Bose, who has films like Amu and Margarita With a Straw to her credit, recently opened up about working with Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar in the upcoming biographical film. She shared, “It was initially a bit intimidating to work with Farhan and Priyanka. For one, Farhan is a director I personally admire. Moreover, he is someone who has directed Priyanka in a film. I felt conscious, but the two actors surrendered completely and trusted me. That made my job easy.”
