Sonali Bendre has been making it to the headlines off lately ever since she returned to Mumbai and then when she returned to the sets The actress was treated for cancer in New York and it was a long process. Sonali however, has been extremely positive throughout and it wouldn't be wrong to say that she never shared a dull moment. Everyone in the industry too, was extremely appreciative and supportive of her. She has been an inspiration all throughout her treatment and her pictures continue to look just as stunning.

And while her posts have all been extremely admirable, one of her stories from her treatment days will surely crack you up. Sonali revealed how she had a habit of constantly rubbing her head when she had turned bald during the treatment and when her friends questioned her, she'd say she is just doing Ranveer Singh's dance step from the song Tattad Tattad. And well, this just sort of speaks volumes about the lady and it is just as funny as it is overwhelming we'd say.

The first book of 2019 on #SonalisBookClub is going to be @divakarunichitra’s latest book, “The Forest Of Enchantments”. I’ve read some of her works previously and I’ve been very intrigued with her stories. Now, I’m really excited about her new book and I can’t wait to read it with you all! #SBCBookDiscussion

From the moment he was born 12 years, 11 months and 8 days ago, my amazing @rockbehl took ownership of my heart. From then on, his happiness and wellbeing have been the centre of anything @goldiebehl and I ever did. And so, when the Big C reared its ugly head, our biggest dilemma was what and how we were going to tell him. As much as we wanted to protect him, we knew it was important to tell him the full facts. We’ve always been open and honest with him and this time it wasn’t going to be different. He took the news so maturely… and instantly became a source of strength and positivity for me. In some situations now, he even reverses roles and takes on being the parent, reminding me of things I need to do! I believe that it’s imperative to keep kids involved in a situation like this. They are a lot more resilient than we give them credit for. It’s important to spend time with them and include them, rather than make them wait on the side-lines, not being told yet instinctively knowing everything. In our effort to protect them from the pain and realities of life, we might end up doing the opposite. I’m spending time with Ranveer right now, while he’s on summer vacation. His madness and shenanigans help me #SwitchOnTheSunshine. And today, we derive strength from each other #OneDayAtATime

Sonali recently returned to the sets and she shared a picture, where she wrote, "Being back on a set after a major sabbatical – one that has been testing in many ways on so many levels – is a surreal feeling. After all this, I sort of feel an additional sense of purpose and meaning and I'm so grateful to be back in action. I don’t think words would do justice to how beautiful it feels to be back at work...to face the camera again and portray the range of emotions required. Given that my emotions have been running high for the last couple of months, it feels good to give into the emotions that the job requires. It's just the kind of day that helps me."
