Today, Sonali posted a rather candid picture wherein the actress, who is busy on her phone, has used the lyrics of Sheryl Crow's Soak Up The Sun to describe her mood. “I'm gonna soak up the sun, I'm gonna tell everyone, To lighten up, I've got no one to blame, For every time I feel lame, I'm looking up, I'm gonna soak up the sun,” she wrote and well, we can’t wait to hum this song with her. On July 4, 2018, Sonali shocked the nation and her million fans when she announced on social media that she has been diagnosed with the Big C, and thereafter, the actress left for New York to undergo the treatment. It was only recently that Sonali returned to India and after coming back to India, Sonali has been busy snapped with friends and family. On January 1, 2019, Sonali celebrated her 44th birthday with close friends and family at her Mumbai residence.

After a long sabbatical, it was only a few days back that Sonali faced the camera and called it a ‘surreal feeling’. She wrote, “I sort of feel an additional sense of purpose and meaning and I'm so grateful to be back in action. I don't think words would do justice to how beautiful it feels to be back at work.”
