Sonam cannot act and she should quit films. She ruins all movies. Dulquer is a good actor and I wish he is cast against an actress who can perform and not the talentless Sonam

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! HE can act, she CAN'T!

Yes Dulquer will kill it!

India should do more adaptations from books instead of copying from Hollywood movies, it's a good call, since not all books get translated into all languages, not everyone will have read them, if they can get enough original romantic novels like this, I don't know who writes them.

This is good casting. They fit the book's characters well. BTW, there's a steamy scenes in the book between Zoya and Nikhil...i wonder if Dulquer is game? I hope yes, cuz on paper those scenes have good chemistry.

PS: Sonam! Please do battle for bittora. Find the perfect Zain!

Aditya Roy Kapur for Zain!

Fawad khan 'd been a perfect Zain but it is never going to happen, He'd ve nailed that character and they had a good chemistry. I can not imagine anyone playing that character.

so true. he'd be A+ casting.

Sonam and Rhea recognise talent. They worked with Fawad Khan and Rajkummar Rao before they became mainstream.

Some star kids can act and Dulquer Salmaan is one of them. he is a very good actor. I have watched some of his south movies. He is very natural on screen, not trying hard to act and that's the best thing about him, just a very charming and talented guy.

SonaM please have short curly hair and change your whole look for this movie

I sure hope so, she did a good job for Neerja. It's a personal peeve for me, for example, in the Princess Diaries, Mia is supposed to be blonde with shorter sandy hair... it bugged me FOREVER when the movie came out!

i saw Ok Kanmani just for Dulquer even though I didnt understand a word. Totes adorbs. Sonam and Rhea are smart cookies

OMGGGGG Dulquer is AMAZING!! full disclosure : i think he'd be a better choice than even Fawad if Sonam were to make Battle for Bittora (i am 100% sure i am in the minority here) If you make this happen Sonam, all faux pas and bitchy comments will be forgotten!

This film to be all time blockbuster.

Nepotism at its best. Anil is well connected with foxstar. Writer is writing for him one daughter producing and another acting. Might as well get mother sunita in too and brother harsh.

Rhea isn't producing the film..It's produced by Pooja and Aarti alongwith Foxstar studios. Rhea on the other hand was supposed to produce Battle for Bittora which did not materialize apparently because of Fawad Khan. Fox star has produced Prdp and Neerja two biggest hits of Sonam's career, so they wouldn't mind casting her in their films- it's a successful collaboration , right?! Bollywood is a business at the end of the day!!

well said!

I think Sonam was very good in both films, especially Aisha.

The role needs a girl next door like Sonakshi or Parineeti, not a fashionista.

I've been waiting for this adaptation for so long. it's been bounced around so many production houses.
i would have liked to see Kangna as Zoya because she's suppose to have super curly hair but w/e

Sonam choice of actors is very good.

The pairing is cool, Dulquer Salmaan is a great actor....don't ruin this opportunity Sonam, more acting less gimmicks...even vibrant characters have depth one wants to see Aisha or Khoobsurat again
