As the 2019 film Sonchiriya marked 2 years today, Bhumi Pednekar took to her social media handle to share a few throwback BTS pictures from the sets of the film featuring late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Bhumi Pednekar and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Sonchiriya clocked two years today. The film was helmed by Abhishek Chaubey and it was released on March 1. 2019. The film couldn’t do well at the box office but Sushant’s performance was highly appreciated by the audience. Today, as the film marked two years. Bhumi took to her social media handle and shared several throwback BTS pictures and videos featuring her along with Sushant from the sets of their film.

In one of the pictures, Bhumi and Sushant can be seen along with the crew. While in one of the videos, the Kedarnath actor can be seen cutting a cake and cheering along with the child artists on the sets. Bhumi has shared several pictures of Sushant and mentioned on her post that she misses him. She has also mentioned in her post that the film Sonchiriya has changed her as a person, gave her 'courage and strength’. Bhumi has also mentioned that the film made her brave and selfless.

The actress concluded her posts by saying, "Want to end by saying...That we miss Sushant. I remember after the screening we both just couldn't stop crying...we were so overwhelmed and grateful to be a part of this film and what it gave us. Your brilliance as Lakhna will be remembered for generations my friend." In the film, Sushant essayed the role of Lakhna.

Set in the ravines of the river Chambal valley, the film tells the tale of dacoits in 1975. Apart from Sushant and Bhumi, the film also starred Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana in key roles.
