Bhumi Pednekar wowed the audiences with her debut film Dum Laga Ke Haisha and post that, she has won hearts in films such as Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. Next up, 29-year-old Bhumi Pednekar will be seen in Abhishek Chaubey’s Sonchiriya and little did all her fans know that to ace her role in the film, Bhumi had to endure long-hours of make-up sessions to look unrecognizable. That’s right! In the crime film Sonchiriya, Bhumi Pednekar is playing the role of a village girl from 1970s Chambal and after the trailer of the film was released, Bhumi’s role was loved by Twitterverse.

“She wore a lot of make-up for the film to make her skin look sunburnt, weather-beaten, pigmented. The idea was to get her tanned down 3 to 4 shades to make her resemble someone who works under the sun in the arid, hot, burnt Chambal valley. It was quite a process every single day for her to look the part,” Pinkvilla was informed.

While in Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Bhumi delivered a break-through performance as she had put on oodles of weight to essay the role of a young woman, Sandhya, in Akshay Kumar’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Bhumi won hearts as she portrayed the role of a determined and progressive young woman from a small town. In Shubh Mangal Savdhan, this young actress played a small town girl Sugandha, and now, finally, in Sonchiriya, Bhumi will be seen in a new avatar. Sonchiriya will hit the screens on March 1, 2019. Although the film was supposed to earlier release on February 8, later, it was postponed to March 1.

Appears very fake, behaviour wise. Very ambitious and will stop at nothing to reach where she wants to. Remember when she pushed Sana Fatima aside during the Toilet Ek... red carpet press interview.

This type of look suits Bhumi. I don't think she can pull off looking rich.

dont worry rich people roles will be played by nepo kids
