Superstar Akshay Kumar is currently busy shooting for Rohit Shetty’s next film Sooryavanshi in Pattaya, Thailand. The film was announced in the last scene of Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer Simmba. Since the last one week, the number 1 Khiladi has been uploading photographs from the sets of the film, in which he can be seen doing stunts on a bike and a helicopter. Well the makers are definitely teasing us, and we can’t wait for the film to hit theatres.
Akshay will be seen working opposite Katrina Kaif in Sooryavanshi. The duo is reuniting on the big screen after a span of 9 years. They were last seen together in the box office dud Tees Maar Khan, directed by Farah Khan. Akshay and Kat have done great work together in films like Namastey London, Singh Is Kinng and Welcome. According to reports, Sooryavanshi is the costliest cop film ever made in Indian cinema history. Akki will be seen playing DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, Chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who is also in Thailand, dropped in to give Akshay a surprise last night. However, it was his mode of transport that stunned his fans and followers. The actor chose to travel by a scooter taxi which is a pretty famous transport in Pattaya. Putting up a video of his journey, he wrote: “This is what I did last night in Pattaya, Thailand. Took a scooter taxi to meet my friend @akshaykumar . It was great fun and adventurous. Enjoy the ride with me.” Replying to the video, Bollywood’s Khiladi who was touched by the surprise, wrote a heartfelt message: “Trust you to do something so spontaneous my friend, took me completely by surprise and a very pleasant one. Big hug.”
