Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif are currently gearing up for their next release Sooryavanshi. Directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by him and Karan Johar, Sooryavanshi is a cop drama which was announced at the end of Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba. Akshay will be playing the role of DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, Chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad while Kat will play his on-screen wife. The last time Kat and Akshay were seen together on the big screen was in 2010, in the film Tees Maar Khan.

In a recent interview, Katrina was asked if her equation with the actor has changed in all these years. The actress shared, “Not at all. With him, it always feels like going back home. He is a wonderful co-star. Still so focussed and dedicated to his craft. He loves his craft and you can see that.” Kat also shared her experience of working with Rohit Shetty for the first time and said, “He is very clear and precise about what he wants. He has an amazing team to support him.”

Katrina Kaif was last seen on the big screen in Salman Khan’s recent film Bharat. Talking about high expectations that audience has from Rohit Shetty films, she said, “I think we all have the pressure to deliver with every film. Every actor wants and craves for that box office success and acceptance from the audience. But at the same time, we are prepared for hits and misses.”
