While hubby Virat Kohli is busy scoring runs on the field in England, here, Anushka Sharma is busy promoting her forthcoming film Sui Dhaaga. Every time Anushka makes an appearance during the promotions, she stuns us with her on-fleek sartorial game. Don’t you agree? Last we saw the actress in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju in a glamorous avatar and with Sui Dhaaga, Anushka is all set to enthrall us with her de-glam look. Anushka Sharma will be essaying the role of Mamta in the film, who is a housewife living in a small town and her no-make up look in the film has been one of the highlights of the film.

Having been an outsider in the film industry, Anushka has had her own share of struggles and just like her, Mamta, too, has a life full of struggles. At a media interaction in Mumbai, Anushka Sharma emphasized on the importance of struggle in one’s life. Anushka said, “I believe every individual will connect with this film because we all have experienced struggle in our lives.” But the highlight of Sui Dhaaga is that the film is relatable and from parents to children, everyone will connect with the film. “People will also relate with each character of the film, be it parents, husband or wife in the film. I think this film is a full on family entertainer. It’s a very emotional yet funny film and along with that we have tried to give a strong message through the film,” explains Anushka.

Recently, Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan attended an event where they promoted the eco-friendly Ganesha idols on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Meanwhile, speaking of Sui Dhaaga, the film is loosely based on the Make In India campaign which was started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sui Dhaaga is directed by Sharat Katatria, and stars Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma in pivotal roles. While the audiences will watch Anushka and Varun for the first time on-screen, they have already won our hearts with the character of Mamta and Mauji and we can’t wait for the film to hit the theatres.
