Sushant Singh Rajput- the name itself evokes several emotions. The actor enjoyed a massive fan following and the nation was in deep shock after the MS Dhoni; The Untold Story star was found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 2020. While his fans, family and friends continue to miss him, on his 35th birth anniversary today, the social media has been abuzz with an emotional tribute for Sushant. In fact, several celebrities also took to social media to remember the late actor.
Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur Sanon, who also shared a great equation with Sushant, shared a monochrome picture with the late actor as he hugged her. In the caption, the Raabta actor wrote, “Sushi...May your soul be as calm and at peace up there as it is in this picture. Happy birthday...remembering all the good moments and things.” Sushant’s Chhichhore co-star Tahir Raj Bhasin also penned a heartfelt note and wrote, “Still hard to believe that this birth anniversary is a remembrance note. You were an incredible spirit, a thinker and a super generous co-star. May you rest in peace.”

Earlier, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti also shared some throwback pictures of the late actor in a collage wherein he was seen posing with his sisters, niece, and rest of the family members. She captioned the post as, “Love you Bhai. You are part of me and will always remain so...” She also announced setting up Sushant Singh Rajput Memorial Fund of $35000 to support those who wish to pursue Astrophysics. Sharing her statement on Instagram, Shweta said, "I am happy to announce that on 35th Birthday of Bhai, a step has been taken towards fulfilling one of his dreams. The Sushant Singh Rajput Memorial Fund of $35,000 has been set up in UC Berkeley. Anyone who is interested in pursuing Astrophysics at UC Berkeley can apply for this fund. Grateful to the Angels who made it possible. Happy Birthday, my little brother, I hope you always stay happy wherever you are! Love You #SushantDay."
