While some actors wait all their lives to work with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu is one lucky girl because this talented actress gets to share screen space with Big B again within a span of three years. Having worked with Mr. Bachchan in Pink (2016), Taapsee Pannu will next be seen with Amit ji in Sujoy Ghosh’s Badla and this 31-year-old actress only wants to up her game with every film. After Badla, Taapsee Pannu has a busy year ahead, and next, she will be seen in films such as Mission Mangal, Saand Ki Aankh and Game Over. And an excited Taapsee, in an interview with DNA revealed that her response to her films has given her the confidence, and therefore, she wants to work harder. Taapsee told DNA, “The response is a validation of sorts — pretty much of what happened in 2018 — of my choices and work. It gives me the confidence and reassurance that people have accepted me. That’s why, this year, I am pushing a lot of boundaries, making it difficult for myself. I know the expectations will increase with every year, so I’m just pushing myself a little more in 2019.”

While Taapsee has worked with Anurag Kashyap for Manmarziyaan and now Saand Ki Aankh, this is the first time that she is working with Sujoy, but the actress shares a friendly rapport with the directors so much so that she feels that in the future, she can work multiple times with them. “There are very few directors whom I can call by their first names, like Sujoy and Anurag (Kashyap). Don’t be surprised if I work with them multiple times because of the rapport we share. I can pick up the phone and tell them, ‘Take me in your film’ or ‘This is a good script, please do it’. Hopefully, Sujoy and I will work together again.”

Recently, after wrapping up Mission Mangal, Taapsee penned a heartwarming note on social media as she wrote, “End of another beautiful journey..... #MissionMangal comes to an end for ‘Kritika Aggarwal’ Every film comes n goes like a teacher of sorts, this one gave a true demo of what is the magic of team work.... with such wonderful actors together in one frame it was truly an experience to treasure and cherish. This August 15th will be the celebration of this super power called India : Mission Director ‘Rakesh Dhawan’”.

On the work front, Taapsee was last seen in Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan and next, she will be seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s Badla, and Mission Mangal. Talking about Badla, the film is an official adaptation of the 2017 Spanish film The Invisible Guest and will release on March 8, 2019.
