Tanushree Dutta silently began a revolution of sorts last year when she brought to light her traumatic experience on a film set with co-star Nana Patekar a decade ago. She alleged that Nana Patekar had sexually harassed her and also registered an FIR in the case. However, since Tanushree's allegations came to the fore almost seven months ago, the police have not managed to make enough headway in the case.

According to a latest report in Mid-Day, the Oshiwara police have been unable to get a single statement that corroborates Tanushree Dutta's allegations against Patekar. Police sources said that none of the witnesses could confirm Tanushree's version of events. Even Daisy Shah, who assisted choreographer Ganesh Acharya back then, told the police that she was not able to remember the details which took place almost a decade ago.

As per the report, the police have recorded 12 to 15 statements of witnesses who were present on the sets of the 2008 film Horn Ok Pleassss. But so far, none of the statements have exactly confirmed Tanushree's version of events. Tanushree had alleged that Nana Patekar was too close for comfort during the filming of an item song.

Reacting to the police's claims, Tanushree told Mid-Day "Who are these 15 witnesses? Are they from my side or Nana's side? They are Nana's friends, then why will they corroborate my story. I don't need witnesses to prove that I was harassed." She also added, "We have faced a lot of difficulty in convincing witnesses to give their statements, as they are scared. So the people who know the truth are being hounded and replaced by fake witnesses who are speaking lies."

Tanushree Dutta is currently living in the US.

this is why women dont voice their struggles.
coz y'all just shit on them.

Just boycott nana’s Movies

"I don't need witnesses to prove that I was harassed." ...Actually, you do - in a court of law. The court of public opinion is another matter. But understand that Nana Patekar also has the right to file a defamation lawsuit. If he claims career impairment due to unproven slanderous allegations...that may actually be a winning case.

This is how it works,,everyone is blaming the victim. She doesn't even work in the industry..you should thank her for starting a movement which unfortunately didn't lead to anywhere.

Find the tapes of the making of the song n movie. One might catch him in the act.

These people (witnesses) have no conscience! Sad.....

All these lies got her only some ribbon cutting assignments. Sigh!!!!!

Still seeking attention. Eish!

You should be ashamed of your existence! How is she seeking attention of someone is reporting something?
