Tiger Shroff has all the reasons to be happy because his latest film- Siddharth Anand’s War has broken a lot of box office records, and has already zoomed past Rs 200 crores at the box office. Post War, Tiger Shroff has started shooting for the third installment of Baaghi titled Baaghi 3 opposite Shraddha Kapoor, and post SOTY2, Tiger Shroff is happy to be back to his home turf and that being action. In an interview, Tiger Shroff said that post SOTY 2, his fans were mighty upset to see Tiger getting ragged because they have always seen Tiger do out and out action scenes.

In an interview, Tiger Shroff said that his audience doesn’t take his experimentation well because right after Baaghi 2, he was seen being bullied by college kids in Student Of The Year 2 and that wasn't appreciated by his fans. “SOTY 2 recovered the money but didn't fare as well as we had hoped for. I had a lot of feedback [on the script]. Ahmed sir [director] and the producer [Sajid Nadiadwala] were kind enough to hear my suggestions,” shared Tiger. While critics are quick to point out that Tiger plays safe with the action genre but Tiger has a different viewpoint as he says that in today’s day and age, everyone is so competitive that an actor needs to exploit his strengths to the maximum. “I can't be compared to anyone else in my generation in the genre of films that I do. I would never dare to compete with Varun Dhawan or Ranveer Singh. I can't do comedy like them. So, it's fair to say that main apni jagah theek hoon. I am choosing roles that display my action abilities,” said Tiger.

Talking about War, the film was directed by Siddharth Anand and the film had Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles and while the film hit the screens on October 2, 2019, War has already zoomed past Rs 200 crores.
