Tiger Shroff on Student of the Year 2: Shooting the song with Will Smith was fun

In an interview, Tiger Shroff spoke about his next film Student of the Year 2. The film also stars Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria.

In 2012, Karan Johar gave us some amazing actors Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra with his film Students of the Year. The college romance drama became a hit at the box office. Now, Tiger Shroff along with debutantes Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria will be playing the role of students in its sequel. The actors have finished the shooting of the film which is all set to release next year. However, the sequel is being helmed by Punit Malhotra.
 
In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Tiger Shroff spoke about the film and his co-stars. When asked about Ananya and Tara, he called them fantastic and great co-actors. He added, "Given the way they work, it seems like they have been around for years". He also said that director Punit Malhotra knows how to tell story which helps making the lives of actors easier.

While comparisons are bound to happen considering its a sequel to SOTY, Tiger said that they are not trying to replace anyone. He stated, "We are not trying to replace them, just trying to graduate with flying colours, like them." The cast also shot a special dance number with Will Smith. About the same, he said, "Shooting with Will sir was fun, the song will a treat for the audience when it releases." The song is choreographed by Remo D'Souza.

Along with Student of the Year 2, the actor will be working with Hrithik Roshan in Siddharth Anand's untiled film. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor. Tiger and Hrithik will have a dance face-off in Anand's next. They have already started the shooting of the film.
