Sidharth Malhotra has a big reason to celebrate as his recent release Marjaavaan opened to mixed reviews from both the audience and the critics. Also starring Riteish Deshmukh and Tara Sutaria, this tragic love story got a good start at the box office. Reportedly, the movie has raked in a collection of Rs 6.50 to 7 crore net on its first day of release. In fact, it is expected that Marjaavaan will witness a hike in its collection in the coming days.

Days after Mardaani 2 trailer was unveiled, the residents of Kota have come out in protest against the Rani Mukerji starrer. The protestors alleged that the movie is showing the city in the bad light. They have also asked the makers to remove the name ‘Kota’ from the movie.
