Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike has managed to smash quite a few records at the box office. Despite releasing on January 11, the movie has maintained a decent pace and has proven to be a stiff competition for new movies that released in the following weeks. The movie had a lot to offer but one thing that stayed with the audiences was the super hit dialogue 'How's the Josh?'. Such was the impact of the dialogue that even Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi could not hold back from using it at one of his events.

In a recent interview with PTI, Uri director Aditya Dhar revealed how the popular dialogue came about. Dhar said, "I had some friends from Defence background, so with them, I used to go to a lot of Army clubs. There was one in Delhi where we used to go for Christmas or New Year parties. There used to be a retired Brigadier who would line up all the kids in front of him and have chocolate in his hand."

"He would say 'How's the josh?' and we were to respond with 'high sir!' The kid who was the loudest got the chocolate. Being a foodie, I used to be the loudest and always got the chocolate," Aditya told PTI. The catchphrase has now become hugely popular and also gone viral. Dhar definitely may have not anticipated for the audiences to love it so much.

Aditya also spoke about the time he actually sat to write Uri. He said that the line was there from the first draft itself. "As a writer, we write according to our personal experiences, our memories. It is an amalgamation of everything. I had the line with me in my memory and this was the perfect film for it to come out," Dhar told PTI. The film has so far managed to rake in a staggering Rs 195 crore at the box office and is most likely to enter the Rs 200 crore club.
