Uri - The Surgical Strike is on the verge of becoming one of the most successful films of the year 2019. The film has already been able to cross the 200 crore club mark and is all set to break the record of the box office collection of films like Padmaavat, Simmba and Sanju. The Aditya Dhar directorial film is based on the real - life incident of the surgical strikes carried out by the Indian army back in September, 2016. Till now, the film has been able to collect around Rs 222. 80 crore and is now eyeing to surpass the 300 crore club very soon.  It has almost been a month since the release of the film Uri - The Surgical Strike but it has still got the box office collections ringing because of the huge response received by the Indian audience.

The film has been able to enter the 200 crore club in just 28 days and has been doing a phenomenal business not only in India but also abroad. Uri: The Surgical Strike was released on January 11, 2019 and has now become the first ever blockbuster of the year 2019. The total collection of the film till now is completely worth all the praises. A number of films including the Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi have been released after the arrival of Uri: The Surgical Strike but none of these films could pose any kind of threat to the Vicky Kaushal starrer film. Even now, despite the release of the much speculated film Gully Boy featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, Uri: The Surgical Strike is still continuing to rule the box office as well as win the hearts of the people.

Thank You India!
