Vicky Kaushal on delivering another hit: Feels special, can't take anything for granted now

The biggest breakout star of 2018, Vicky Kaushal, is undoubtedly soaking in the success of Uri: The Surgical Strike. The film has not only given the biggest opening of the year but put Vicky Kaushal under the spotlight and made him a household name. The film has raked in more than Rs 200 crore at the domestic box office. It also maintained its steady pace despite new films like Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Thackeray giving it competition at the box office.

In a recent interview, Vicky was asked about Uri's success and whether he feels the pressure to deliver another hit. Vicky told reporters, "You say that to yourself that now is the time you can't take anything for granted. You've to keep working hard, harder and hardest. It feels so special," reported PTI. 

In another interview, Vicky had revealed that "I have worked really hard to get this pressure. It feels good when you get so much love and appreciation from audience." Vicky's films in 2018 got him the recognition. Films like Masaan, Raazi, Sanju and Manmarziyaan cemented his place in the Hindi film industry. His latest hit Uri proved to be a turning point for the actor. 

 

 

The 'Lust Stories' actor will next be seen in Karan Johar's directorial "Takht" and will also reportedly feature in a horror film opposite Bhumi Pednekar. Takht is a multi-starrer film which stars Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.
