Vicky Kaushal will soon be starting with the shooting of his next film. The film titled The Immortal Ashwatthama is helmed by Aditya Dhar and will go on floors in June this year. Vicky Kaushal, who has seen major growth in his career, will be joining the director for the second time after Uri: The Surgical Strike. The poster of the action-based superhero film set in modern times has already been unveiled and it has received a good response on social media.

Today, Aditya Dhar is celebrating his birthday and on this occasion, Vicky Kaushal shared a lovely picture and also penned a heartwarming note. He wrote, “Years ago you called me after watching Masaan and said we’ll work together someday. You called me for your first film and we did Uri. Now we have commenced together again on the journey of making The Immortal Ashwatthama. Your faith in me scares me sometimes but it also brings out the best in me. Thanks for being that person in my life. Happy Birthday mere dost, mere bhai, mere director @adityadharfilms. Tum jiyo hazaaro saal yeh meri hai aarzoo!”

Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal has many films in his kitty including Shoojit Sircar's Udham Singh biopic, Meghna Gulzar's biopic on Sam Manekshaw, Karan Johar's Takht and YRF’s comedy film.
