Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi released despite a lot of hurdles and delays. The movie finally saw the daylight and fans are appreciating the actor for her efforts. With Manikarnika, Kangana proved that not only she is a fantastic actor but also a great writer and a skilled director. It was no cakewalk for the actor to take the project in her hands and give her best to it. Kangana perfectly showed Rani of Jhansi’s valour on the big screen. The actor, in her recent interviews, said that no one backed her and no one came in support of her. She said that no one tweeted about her trailer.

In an interview with Filmfare, Vidya Balan was asked about if she has watched Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika and she supported her. Vidya said, “I watched Manikarnika in the theatre and I was blown away by the amount of hard work that has gone into it. It's there for everyone to see and the war sequences are among the best that I have seen in any Indian film. Congratulations to the entire team.” Well, Kangana has found support in Vidya.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Kangana Ranaut was asked about working as a director for the film, and she revealed that this is not the first time she worked behind the camera. "This is not my first experience as far as supervising the edit or even directing a film is concerned. I was 23 or 24, when I directed my first film. It was a 10-minute short film that I had shot with an international crew. Also at that time, I was struggling with small roles in films like Double Dhamaal (2011). So I've been a director since then. Be it direction, writing or editing, I've already done it in the past," said the actress. Meanwhile, watch the video here:

Kangana has done a remarkable job as a director-actor in Manikarnika. Secure women like Vidya will appreciate it.

She basically praised Krish’s work (the war scenes were shot by him) and congratulated the team as whole. Vidya is no novice, she’s a smart cookie.

Kangana should stop wasting her money on this lame PR tactics...who cares who supporting whom now, they didn't promoted it and just congrats her secretly and that's it...and she did/said what she wanted to against Kjo,alia and aamir...now she needs to move on...

Never seen Kangana praising Vidya or anyone for that matter. She doesn’t even have Twitter. Why does she expect people to tweet her trailer?

She appreciated the whole team and their effort. It's a team work. (The war scene might be directed by krish as she didn't mention any name) Why such misleading heading

Krish shot all the war scenes.

She didn't support kangana...

Ms.Balan, next time you be the producer, hire Ms. Kangana the Great as a director, antagonist, protagonist, singer, editor, comedian and everything else because if you hire anyone else for any of these roles, she won’t like their work after 70-80% done. You have to spend more money to reshoot. Then support her after your experience. Don’t give statements like this unless you work with her. No, I don’t mean working as actors/colleagues, just investing on Kangana. Then you will understand.

Finally vidya spoke abt Manikarnika. I was surprised how come vidya didn’t say anything. Now let’s hear from Paresh Rawal, kiron kher, anurag basu, rajkumar rao.

Absolutely stunning performance by the queen

Yes it was a fantastic all round performance by the talented and gutsy actress Katrina Ranaut. It is so difficult without any support and appreciation from our nepotistic Bollywood industry to survive. But Kangana you have shown that you are a fighter and a survivor. Kudos to you on your wonderful performance.

Who the hell is Katrina Ranaut?

Kangana u r best actress...

What else to expect from this industry, nepotism at it's peak! Hate it when talented ones left without any support and dumb actors get successful (coz of nepotism)

Absolutely

Kangana is so talented.. wish her all the best in life..

Vidhya walked a tight rope beautifully. She just finished NTR biopic with Krish.. By not taking any one person name I think she pleased both Kangana and Krish. Glad she and Sushmita spoke..respect both of them..
