After Tanushree Dutta’s sexual harassment allegation against Nana Patekar, the #MeToo movement is finally gaining momentum in Bollywood. Lately, several stars have come out in the open and called out actors and filmmakers who have sexually misbehaved with them on different occasions. Soon after Nana Patekar, AIB comedians Utsav Chakaraborty, Gursimran Khamba, Rajat Kapoor, Vikas Bahl and Alok Nath, everyone has been making headlines for their sexual misconduct. Allegations of sexual assault against the Queen director Vikas Bahl have been making headlines ever since an employee of Phantom accused Vikas of sexual harassment.

As a matter of fact, the employee’s story has been corroborated by filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and recently, Anurag Kashyap apologised to the girl by sharing a post on his social media mentioning that it was the victim's choice to not speak about the incident. However, this clearly didn’t go down well with Vikas Bahl and in a latest development, Vikas has issued two separate legal notices to Kashyap and Motwane via email. In the notice, Vikas Bahl has accused Anurag and Vikramaditya of not only devising the whole #MeToo campaign against him, but using the opportunity to disband Phantom Films.

Vikas Bahl legal notice reads, “You are neither a witness nor the alleged victim, but instead an opportunist seeking to derive benefit based on unsubstantiated information. The alleged incident has not been established in any court of law and that you have exploited the media to propagate your own personal vendetta.” Bahl has alleged that owing to creative differences, Vikas along with Kashyap and Motwane had anyways been talking about the dissolution of Phantom Films for the past few months. “However, putting [the blame of the production house shutting down] solely on Bahl is in bad taste,” the notice says.

For all those who don’t know, Phantom films was owned by Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Anurag Kashyap, Madhu Mantena and Vikas Bahl. Recently, Phantom Films was dissolved as the directors called it quits after seven years of partnership of agreements and disagreements.

Hes right . Anurag and Motwane knew about it long time ago. they kept quite because of their film releases etc., they are equally guilty .

Vikas unfortunately for you just lame legl notices are not going to deter the industry from boycotting you.

He is trying to divert attention nice try

Vikas shouldn’t be issuing useless legal notices which have absolutely no bearing or consequence. Especially when bigger things are at stake in terms of women’s respect and safety. Who cares why Phantom was dissolved. It was going to dissolve anyways. It just makes one think that Vikas is shady and wants to take the attention off from real and important issues
