Vishal Bhardwaj finds glitch in the national anthem; requests Ministry of Information & Broadcasting to amend

Vishal Bhardwaj has been in the news of late as his last movie Pataakha starring Sanya Malhotra and Radhika Madan received rave reviews from the critics as well as from the masses. The filmmaker is garnering headlines again as he took to Twitter to complain about a technical glitch that he observed in the national anthem of our nation. The national anthem which was produced by Films Division and Ministry of Information & Broadcasting was played during the ongoing MAMI film festival and the technical glitch was observed by Vishal Bhardwaj. 

He wrote: "Heard our national anthem produced by @Films_Division and @MIB_India during @MumbaiFilmFest. There is a technical glitch at "Gahe Tav Jai Gaatha", seems to be a sound transfer issue. Goes off tune and hurts ear and soul. Can @MIB_India please get this rectified?"

On the work front, the filmmaker is coming up with a crime thriller titled Sapna Didi, but it is halted as the lead actor Irrfan Khan is undergoing cancer treatment. Recently, during an interview, he said that he will start working the film next year most probably. Talking about MAMI (Mumbai Academy of Moving Image) film festival, the 20th edition of the festival started on October 25, 2018 and the same will end on November 1, 2018. The first day of the film festival was attended by many celebs such as Swara Bhasker, Naseeruddin Shah,Kiran Rao and Radhika Madan among others.
