One of the most awaited films of the year 2019 is Siddharth Anand’s directorial War. Featuring Bollywood hunks Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff along with the beautiful Vaani Kapoor, the action thriller is slated to hit theatres on 2nd October. After watching the amazing action packed trailer, awestruck fans have been eagerly waiting to watch the film. The story follows the life of an Indian soldier named Khalid Ibrahim, played by Tiger, who is assigned to find his mentor and rogue soldier Kabir Siddiqui, played by Hrithik.

In a recent interview, Siddharth revealed some details about an action scene in the film and said, “We shot an intense, high-speed action sequence between Hrithik and Tiger. The scene required Tiger to chase down Hrithik and this extensive sequence required us to get permission to shut down the main bridge at Porto for two days. The local authorities were extremely supportive, and we got all due clearances to shoot this adrenaline-pumping scene.”

The filmmaker went on to share how the locals of Portugal reacted and said, “They had never seen their city in lockdown mode ever. They were super-curious and came to see which film had locked down their bridge. Their reactions were priceless because they were amazed seeing the kind of high-octane action that Hrithik and Tiger were performing.”

Produced by Aditya Chopra under his banner Yash Raj Films, War is set to release in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
