A few days back, while all of Shraddha Kapoor fans were upset, hundreds of Parineeti Chopra fans were elated when it was announced that Parineeti Chopra has replaced Shraddha in the biopic on the life of ace badminton player Sania Nehwal helmed by Amol Gupte. Although Shraddha Kapoor had started the prep for the film, having completed the strenuous training for badminton, however, due to Shraddha’s film commitments, the makers of the film and Shraddha mutually decided to let Shraddha walk out of the film and instead rope in another actress and in this case, it was Parineeti Chopra.

Soon after, Parineeti Chopra dived straight into the sets of the film and to begin with, this 30-year-old actress has started practicing the game of badminton and nowadays, Parineeti Chopra is often spotted outside the gym. A few days back, Parineeti Chopra had posted a picture on social media wherein she was seen posing with the badminton racket and her caption read, “Post training bliss #Sania..” And now, in the latest, it is being reported that Parineeti is leaving no stone unturned for the biopic and besides practicing and working out hard, Pari is devoting 2 hours daily to watch match footage and public appearance videos to get into the mind of the iconic badminton player. That’s right!

Pinkvilla was informed as, “Saina is an extremely disciplined, champion badminton player and Pari has started binge watching her matches, her interview clips and her public appearance videos to get to know her in depth before she starts shooting. Every day, Pari is devoting about 2 hours to watch her videos and take notes on her mannerisms and body language to how he conducts herself on and off the court”. And when Parineeti was quizzed about prepping up for Sania Nehwal’s role, she told us, “Yes, I am a visual learner so the most important advice that I got from my entire training team, Amole sir and everybody was that I must watch Saina’s matches. I haven’t watched that many badminton matches and I really want to play exactly the way she plays. So, watching her matches how she drops her foot, how she uses her hand, how she uses her racket, her aggression on the court that is something that I really want to imbibe as a part of my personality, so have to watch all her matches and videos.” Last, Parineeti Chopra was seen in Anurag Singh’s war drama titled Kesari opposite Akshay Kumar and the film set the cash registers ringing at the box office as it entered the Rs 100-crore club.
