It has been five days since Captain Marvel starring Brie Larson hit theatres and the box office numbers only seem to rising. Not only in the US, but the Marvel film is smashing box office records in India as well as Asia. In India, the film raked in staggering Rs 32 crore on the opening weekend and has also become the second highest Marvel grossing film after Avengers: Infinity War. The Brie Larson starrer is also Marvel's first female-led superhero film, a milestone in itself. 

In a perfect example of girl power, Wonder Woman Gal Gadot had a super sweet social media message for Larson. Her message conveyed that it's not so much about competition as it is about supporting and celebrating one another—and the actress did just that for her fellow superhero.

In an adorable Instagram post, Gal Gadot shared an artwork of their characters -- Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman. She said, "I'm so happy for you sister! Congrats." The artist, whose artwork was shared by Gadot, was also touched by her gesture and wrote on Instagram, "I make this kind of art to bring women together and show how important female leads are for us."
