Park Bo Young and Son Suk Ku are now all set to star together in the Hi-5 director Kang Hyung Chul’s next film, If I’m With You. The film is touted to be a fantasy romantic comedy, which will also mark the reunion of Park Bo Young and Kang Hyung Chul after 18 years.

According to a report by Soompi, a media outlet had reported that Park Bo Young and Son Suk Ku will star together in a film with director Kang Hyung Chul.
In response to the report, Bo Young’s agency BH Entertainment stated that the actress had received an offer to star in the upcoming film, If I’m With You, and is currently reviewing the offer. Meanwhile, Son Suk Ku’s agency commented that he has only received the offer.
If I’m With You is a fantasy romantic comedy about events that unfold aboard a cruise ship. The film is the latest project from director Kang Hyung Chul, who previously helmed hits including Scandal Makers, Sunny, Tazza: The Hidden Card, Swing Kids, and Hi-5.
The film marks Park Bo Young’s reunion with director Kang Hyung Chul for the first time in 18 years since the 2008’s Scandal Makers, which was a massive hit. The film was both Kang Hyung Chul’s feature film debut and Park Bo Young’s first major success.
Moreover, Park Bo Young and Son Suk Ku will star together as the leads for the first time.

Park Bo Young was last seen in a lead role for the thriller series Gold Land. Directed by Kim Sung Hoon, the film has Kim Sung Cheol, Lee Hyun Wook, Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Hee Won, Moon Jeong Hee, and more in key roles.
On the other hand, Son Suk Ku was seen in a lead role for the mystery thriller Nine Puzzles. Directed by Yoon Jong Bin and Kim Jung Ho, the series was released on Disney+ on May 21, 2025.
