Superstars under one roof! Big B, Bebo, Aamir & Farhan come together for Global Citizen India Project

A press conference to announce the Global Citizen India Festival took place today which was attended by Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Farhan Akhtar. The event was hosted by Tisca Chopra.
International celebs as Jay-Z, popular music band Coldplay and the Bollywood superstars will join forces in India this fall as the Global Citizen Festival expands internationally. The charity concert, which is overseen by the Global Poverty Project, will be held at the MMRDA Grounds in Mumbai on November 19 - World Toilet Day - with a focus on sanitation, clean water, education, and gender equality.
Reportedly, Aamir has shot an ad film -Shuruaat Hoon Main for Global Citizens. At the event, the celebs were seen addressing the cause, its significance and how India chapter will further strengthen the objective to expand. While Kareena was seen discussing the project at length, Big B-Aamir's onstage camaraderie was worth a watch. The two superstars will soon share the screen in Thugs of Hindostan.
Apart from Coldplay and Jay-Z, the festival would be headlined by performers like Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, AR Rahman, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Arijit Singh, Dia Mirza, Shankar Ehsaan Loy and Monali Thakur.
