In some shocking news for the wrestling fans, the official Instagram page of WWE took to Instagram to confirm the rumours floating on the Internet that Dean Ambrose was leaving WWE after his contract expires in April, post Wrestlemania 35. WWE wrote, "Dean Ambrose (Jonathan Good) will not be renewing his contract with WWE when it expires in April. We are grateful and appreciative of all that Dean had given to WWE and our fans. We wish him well and hope that one day Dean will return to WWE."

The reason for Dean leaving is reportedly creative differences regarding his recent heel turn which has been an unsuccessful run. Not only was he unceremoniously dumped off the Men's Royal Rumble by NXT talent Aleister Black in Royal Rumble 2019, but he was also pushed aside by Nia Jax during an episode of Monday Night Raw. John Cena, who has had quite a few memorable matches with Dean and can even call him as an acquaintance of sorts, took to Instagram to address this news.

Known for his cryptic IG posts with no captions to explain them, Cena posted a yearbook photo of someone named John Moxley. Ambrose fans are aware of the fact that before he came to WWE, Dean was known as Jon Moxley in the indies. Check out Cena's IG post below:
