If you thought Akshay Kumar would be on holiday mode after the promotions and the release of Mission Mangal, the actor is proving you wrong. While we lay back and enjoy our last of the long weekend courtesy Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan, Akshay was spotted riding the Madh Jetty earlier with the cast and crew of Laxmmi Bomb. The actor will be seen in the Bollywood remake of the hit Tamil movie, Kanchana. The paparazzi caught Akshay and his Laxmmi Bomb co-star Kiara Advani soaking up the sun on Sunday.

Akshay was seen on a "do not disturb" mode while he explored the ride and eventually took his seat on the corner of the jetty. The actor dressed in all-black casuals and a jacket while he sported his sunglasses. He has his earphones on and was engrossed in his music.

On the other hand, Kiara sported cargo pants and a denim jacket as she smiled for the cameras. She walked out of the jetty sporting a chic sling bag while her team walked with her. Check out the photos below:

While we know Akshay and Kiara play the lead, it has also been revealed that Jab We Met actor Tarun Arora, who played Anshuman in the Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor starrer, will essay the villain role. A source had told Mumbai Mirror, "Like in the original, the Hindi villain is also a corrupt MLA, and Raghava, who has worked with Tarun in Kanchana 3, which released in April this year, believes that he is apt for the part. His new avatar is very different from his Jab We Met character. The formalities are currently underway."
