Portraying the journey of rags to riches of two of the most renowned rappers in India, Ranveer Singh is all set to make us jump to his tunes in his next, Gully Boy. The movie is inspired partly from the lives of hip-hop rap artists Naezy and Divine. In Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh can be seen playing the role of a boy from a small slum who desperately tries to follow his passion of rapping. In the trailer, we got a sense of the hard work Ranveer Singh has put in the film and with the first song, Apna Time Ayega, we can surely call him a completely versatile star.

Now, amidst the buzz surrounding Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh took to Instagram to share a photo with the original star of the Gully Rap, Naezy. Though Divine was missing from the frame, Ranveer and Naezy posing together surely gave us super gangsta vibes. In the photo, we can see Naezy aka Naved Shaikh dressed casually in a black t-shirt with black jeans, a cap and black shades. On the other hand, Ranveer can be seen donning a casual attire which comprised of an army green hoodie with grey track pants and sneakers. He too can be seen sporting a cap and black shades.

Take a look:

Don’t the two dudes give off super cool vibes? Gully Boy also features Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin in lead roles. The trailer left the audience completely dumbfounded and Ranveer’s performance was greatly appreciated. Gully Boy is helmed by Zoya Akhtar and the first song, Apna Time Ayega is already a chartbuster. The entire B-town also poured in good wishes for the director and the actors of the film. Now, we can’t wait to watch the film which is slated to hit the theatres on February 14, 2018.
