One of the much-awaited releases of 2019 is Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. The movie starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin has been making headlines for all the right reasons. From the unique trailer announcement to the first song, Gully Boy has been creating an impact in the minds of the audiences. The movie has been inspired from the life of real-life hip hop artists, Naezy and Divine whose Gully Rap became their claim to fame and introduced the new music genre to Indian listeners.

Today, Ranveer Singh was spotted with the two rappers outside a recording studio. As per reports, Ranveer had trained with both of them for this movie for over a period of 10 months. His hard work was pretty much visible in the trailer and the first song Apna Time Ayega. In the photos from today, Ranveer can be seen striking uber cool poses with the original gully boys, Naezy and Divine. He can be seen sporting a Grey sweatshirt with black jeans, black cap, shades and sneakers while Naezy and Divine can also be seen donning a casual attire.

Don’t they remind you of the gangsta vibes? In an interview with IANS, Ranveer spoke at length about how excited he was to do Gully Boy. He was quoted saying, “When somebody told me about the script of Gully Boy, I told them that it is my film. If any other actor would have been a part of this film instead of me then I would have got burnt with jealousy. I was born to do Gully Boy and I knew only I can pull off this character.” His excitement about the film was pretty evident from his energy at the trailer launch of the film. The movie is slated to release on February 14, 2019.
