Meanwhile, there were reports that Shraddha Kapoor, who is busy prepping for Saina Nehwal's biopic is finding it tough to pick the badminton game, say reports. Shraddha also recently injured her leg and it may lead to delay in the film. The Saina Nehwal biopic that was supposed to go on the floors this month is delayed as the makers want the actress to look convincing enough as a badminton player.
The Saaho actress is taking regular training sessions from the last one-and-a-half-months to learn the game from former badminton player Pullela Gopichand, who has been Saina's coach. As reported by a leading tabloid, a source informed, "Despite regular sessions, it has been a tough ride for Shraddha. With the amount of prep left for Shraddha, the project will start rolling only by the first quarter of next year."
Shraddha, who is quite excited about the film and learning the game said, "I try to go five times a week at 6 am, besides hitting the gym to attain the physicality of a badminton player."
When director Amole Gupte was asked about the delay in the shooting, he said that he is unwell from the past one week. A production insider told the publication, "There is no official deadline on the film. Amole wants to make a good movie and that's our priority. Even if there's a slight delay, we have their back."
