Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma will be seen together in Sharat Katariya's upcoming film Sui Dhaaga: Made in India. The actors have left us wondering with the many stills and the behind-the-scenes video they keep sharing on their social media pages. Varun and Anushka have gone on a full-on desi mode with simplicity being the key point. In the film, Varun Dhawan will be playing the role of a tailor and Anushka Sharma will be seen as an embroiderer. They play husband-wife in Sui Dhaaga. Varun and Anushka's characters are named Mauji and Mamta, respectively.

The actors have shot for the film in Chanderi, Delhi and some parts of Mumbai. Today, Varun Dhawan shared the first poster of Sui Dhaaga. In the poster, Varun, in his Mauji avatar, is sitting on the sewing machine table and Anushka, dressed in a simple blue-white saree is standing beside him. We also get to see, what we assume it to be, their workshop as they let us in their world of sui and dhaaga. The poster also has a logo which is designed by real artist/tailor as the team of YRF had toured to 40 different cities to get the perfect logo stitched for their film. The trailer of the film will be out on August 13.

Varun Dhawan tweeted, "Exclusive -बड़े मौज से पेश करते हैं हम सुई धागा मेड इन इंडिया का पहला पोस्टर! अब ट्रेलर के लिए ज़्यादा वक़्त नहीं बचा! #SuiDhaagaMadeInIndia TRAILER OUT ON 13TH AUGUST! भूलना मत! ".

It's a miscast for such type of movie in my opinion:)

it looks like it is overdone and trying too hard. Anushka looks weird and so does the mannequin at the back....

Yeah, she does not look good.

I hope they make a movie on all the artist, may be 5 minutes to each artist, what was their thought process and why they chose to do in a certain way, really lovely to see so many versions of one logo.. Absolutley beautiful. Hope they paid them well, its a lot of work.. Kudos to all who work so hard on this logo.

So beautiful, great job everyone on the logo, amazing talent in India.
