SF9’s Zuho announces military enlistment on May 11 as active duty soldier

SF9 member Zuho is enlisting in the military for his mandatory conscription. As of May 8, a confirmation was shared by his agency, Haewadal Entertainment, announcing his military enlistment start date as May 11. They also shared that he will enter the Nonsan Army Training Center and will be serving as an active duty soldier in the Republic of Korea military.
Zuho shares plans for military service
Baek Juho, aka Zuho of K-pop boy group SF9, is all set to enlist in the military on May 11. The confirmation about the same came from his management label Haewadal Entertainment on Friday morning. According to the regulations, while serving in the army as an active duty soldier, Zuho will be away for a total of at least 18 months if things go as planned. As such, his expected period of discharge is said to be around November 2027.
Zuho spoke about his upcoming military enlistment with a note as reported by Hankook Ilbo, “Although I am enlisting a bit late due to my various activities, I will fulfill my national defense duties with even more sincerity and return.” He added, “I plan to continue my active career as both a singer and an actor after my discharge. I will continue to show a consistent side of myself so that I can always provide joy to fans who wait for me. I will return as a more mature person who will never disappoint.”
Meanwhile, Zuho, who debuted with SF9 in 2016, has also taken to acting in recent years and showcasing his talent in musicals. He has appeared in web dramas including Meal Kid, Heartbeat Broadcast Accident, and Ongoing Loved One, among others. He also made his BL drama debut with Star Struck in 2023 and has been promoting as a solo singer apart from his group activities.
