But before we could dive into the movie, the actor shared a few details about his character in the South Korean movie. For the unversed, Song Joong Ki plays Kim Tae Ho, a pilot of a spaceship. Speaking of the role during a press conference, as reported by Zapzee, the actor said his state of mind while filming the role was similar to the role of Tae Ho.

"When I was filming, my personal state of mind as Song Joong Ki was quite similar to Tae Ho’s mind," he said before explaining, "I think I thought of him to be a person who has let go of everything, a person with no thoughts, and a person who is stuck in a rut." The actor associated the emotion of despair with the character.

"I thought of Tae Ho as a person who has fallen into pieces after going to many ups and downs of life but found the will to pluck up his courage and hold onto his life after meeting this crew, who can also be called the rabbles, Song Joong Ki added. He shared that the crew onboard helped Tae Ho evolve. "I acted with those thoughts in mind,” Song Joong Ki said.
