During the 25th game of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, South African skipper Faf du Plessis was bowled by a lethal yorker off Lockie Ferguson.

In the 14th over, the Kiwi bowler set du Plessis up for the dismissal by his variations. The first ball had gone for a four after the Proteas batter punched the ball on his back foot, but Lockie returned to bowl a fatal bouncer that was in the high 140s. The last ball of the over was an unplayable yorker, and even though Faf defended it well, he saw the ball castling his stumps.

The skipper walked back scoring  23 in 35 balls with the help of four fours. His dismissal saw the South Africans slump to 59 for 2 in 14 overs.

Here is his dismissal.
