Asha Bhat, who is all set to foray into the South Indian film industry, has hit the headlines after her twitter and Instagram accounts got hacked by a Turkish group.

Made her acting debut with Bollywood film Junglee, actress Asha Bhat, who is all set to foray into the South Indian film industry, has hit the headlines after her twitter and Instagram accounts got hacked by a Turkish group. The actress took to Twitter and announced about the same. She wrote, "hey guys last night my twitter and instagram got hacked by this Turkish group. Luckily we are able to retrieve full control of my twitter account and Instagram is still a work in progress." In a conversation with Pinkvilla, Asha revealed how her biodata was changed with a random website link. 

She said, "I asked my sister and friends to view my profile from their account and the profile picture had been changed by then, the biodata had been changed and also a new link was posted which led to some random website. People were getting some random links from my account. She further revealed, "a tweet was posted from my account in Turkish saying “even the devil needs a signature" and we instantly knew that it is been compromised." 

Asha Bhatt, who will be seen in Kannada film Roberrt opposite Challenging star Darshan Thoogudeepa Srinivas, opened up about how she was initially scared. "Initially, I was really scared and tensed as I was experiencing this for the first time and soon I made sure to alert my people and fans via facebook and messages and got in touch with the IG and twitter team and managed to retrieve it. Thankfully blessed to have people who helped me out."

This is not for the first time, many actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Shahid Kapoor have also been the victims of this scam range
