Adithya Varma has been bankrolled by E4 Entertainment, producers of popular Malayalam films such as Ezra and Godha. The film will release on November 8.

On Kabir Singh had received flak for being misogynistic and how he too faced criticism, Dhruv in an interview to TOI had said, “When the teaser of Varma released, there was a lot of disapproval. When people pan your acting, you know what to work on and be a better actor. But, when it is about your appearance and looks, it can be quite demeaning and hard on you. I had grown a beard for the first time ever in my life, for Varma. People said that it looked bad. But, I realised that criticism shouldn’t put you down. After all, everyone is entitled to their opinion.”
