R. Parthiban had recently criticized Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha Krishnan after the duo appeared together at a wedding. Now, the actor-filmmaker has presented a unique painting to the superstar, along with a special note.
R. Parthiban gifts Thalapathy Vijay a special painting
As many celebrities continue to visit Thalapathy Vijay following his recent win, R. Parthiban has also stepped forward with a unique gift, a custom painting accompanied by a handwritten note. The artwork depicts Vijay as a king seated on a throne.
Sharing the painting, the actor also penned a note that read, “To bring peaceful, orderly governance, adorned with sacred sandal paste marks, Vijay, the great scholar, ascends the throne and adorns the seat of power.”

For those unaware, Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha Krishnan made headlines when they attended a wedding in Chennai wearing matching outfits. This came just days after reports surfaced that Sangeetha had alleged certain details in her divorce petition.
Reacting to a picture of Trisha at an event and referring to her character from Ponniyin Selvan, Parthiban remarked, “This Kundavai should be kept at home for a few days. That’s good. Don’t let her come out.”
Following massive backlash, R Parthiban later issued a clarification through a video. Moreover, Trisha publicly criticized him for the remark. She stated, “A microphone doesn't make a comment intelligent or humorous. It just makes stupidity louder. Crude words without knowledge say more about the speaker than the person they're aimed at.”
Thalapathy Vijay’s work front
Thalapathy Vijay is next set to be seen in the lead role in Jana Nayagan. Directed by H. Vinoth, the film follows the story of Thalapathy Vetri Kondan, a former police officer who adopts a young girl named Viji and is determined to raise her as a strong and independent woman. He even encourages her to join the forces despite her fear of violence.
Amid these events, a grave threat looms over India, one that could potentially lead to widespread destruction. As Thalapathy finds himself caught in the middle of these circumstances, a personal vendetta emerges, forcing him to take matters into his own hands and expose the system responsible for triggering the crisis.
Apart from Vijay, the film also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani, Sunil, and several others in key roles.
