It is surely raining biopic in the world of films and the latest being a biopic on Tamil Nadu's late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa which has caught the fancy of every filmmaker. After Kangana Ranaut announced that she is going to do a biopic on Jayalalitha directed by A.L.Vijay, it is now being reported that Kajol has been roped in to essay the role of former Tamil Nadu CM and veteran actress Jayalalitha. While many filmmakers have expressed their wish to make a film on her life and till now, at least five films have been announced.

And in the latest developments, it is being reported that Bollywood actress Kajol and Amala Paul have been approached for the biopic. According to grapevine, Kethireddy Jagadeeswara Reddy ,Tamil Nadu Telugu Yuvasakthi president and director, is soon going to approach Kajol Devgn to play the role of J Jayalalithaa, and Amala Paul for the character of Jaya's close aide Sasikala, who is now serving her four-year imprisonment in the disproportionate case, in the movie called SASI LALITHA .

Kajol will kill it!

Kajol is neither hardworking nor dedicated to be taking up challenging and versatile roles. She has to undergo lot of physical and mental transformation which I don't think kajol's Forte. She is best suited for Karan Johar movies.

Maybe Aishwarya Rai can do it, she's got the round face and all..

Why can't someone from south india play the role ? This obsession with non-actors from B-town needs to stop.

Pl. Kajol cannot pull off a jayalalitha

Ong we do the want so many biopics !! jayalalita was Soo fair ya...How can Kajol play it ??

There is a void of creativity in Bollywood for sure... Not to forget the void of talent too..

Kajol is a one dimensional actor. She cannot take on a complex role.

Enough with the biopics already! Is there a void of creativity in Bollywood now?
