Arjun Sarja and Preity Mukhundhan starrer Blast set to hit OTT on June 25, 2026?
Blast is the martial arts thriller starring Arjun Sarja, Preity Mukhundhan, and Abhirami, which was a success in theaters.
Blast, starring Arjun Sarja, Preity Mukhundhan, and Abhirami in the lead roles, was released in theaters on May 28, 2026. Following its successful box office run and positive critical reception, the film now appears to be gearing up for its OTT release.
Arjun Sarja, Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan’s Blast to release on OTT?
According to industry tracker Sreedhar Pillai, Blast is slated to stream on the OTT platform Netflix. The film is reportedly set to begin streaming on June 25, 2026. However, an official announcement regarding its digital premiere is yet to be made.
Blast follows a humble middle-class family of martial arts experts led by Rajaram, a karate teacher who lives with his wife Neelaveni and their daughter Nila. Their peaceful life is disrupted when they inadvertently cross paths with a corporate syndicate. Their peaceful lives are turned upside down when they are forced to use their combat skills to protect themselves and expose a massive scam.
Alongside Arjun Sarja, Abhirami, and Preity Mukhundhan, the film features John Kokken, Vivek Prasanna, Arjun Chidambaram, Dileepan, Pawan, Vinod Sagar, and several others in key roles. Written and directed by Subash K. Raj, the movie was produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh, and Kalpathi S. Suresh under the banner of AGS Entertainment.
The martial arts thriller features music and background score composed by Ravi Basrur, while Arun Radhakrishnan handled the cinematography. Pradeep E. Ragav served as the editor.
Preity Mukhundhan’s work front
Preity Mukhundhan will next star alongside Atharvaa Murali in Idhayam Murali. The film is described as a coming-of-age romantic drama centered on the theme of unrequited love.
Produced and directed by Aakash Baskaran, the movie also features Fahadh Faasil in a key role, alongside Kayadu Lohar, Natty Subramaniam, Niharika NM, Rakshan, Dravid, Angeline, Pragya, Sudhakar, Yashashree, and several others.
Ahead of the film’s release on July 10, 2026, the makers unveiled its latest single, Vaama Vaama, composed by Thaman S. Interestingly, the musician also makes an on-screen appearance in the movie.
Looking ahead, the Sarvam Maya actress also has Emo Emo Idi, Naagzilla, and several other projects in her lineup.
