Taking to his social media handle, Tharun Moorthy penned, “Dear friends, I am receiving many messages and calls regarding online news claiming that our shoot has been stopped due to confusion in the script. Athimanoharam, starring Lalettan in the lead role, features him as an officer. With a screenplay penned by Ratheesh Ravi, the film also marks Meera Jasmine’s return to a lead role opposite Mohanlal after several years. She had previously made a cameo appearance alongside the actor in Hridayapoorvam.

Initially, the project was announced as L365, with Thallumaala actor Austin Das attached as the director. However, due to creative differences, he was replaced by Tharun Moorthy, transforming the project into a new film distinct from its original version.
