Bigg Boss Tamil 3's Mugen Rao’s next film titled Velan rolled out; First look to be released soon

At a time when fans of Mugen Rao are waiting for the singer to announce updates about his film Vettri, the actor has now shared a post on his Instagram space while revealing that he has signed yet another film titled Velan. Sharing the news, Mugen Rao also revealed that the film’s first look poster will be released soon. Directed by Kavin Moorthy K, the film will have popular Kollywood actors including Prabhu, Soori, Thambi Ramaya among others.

Meenakshi Govindharajan of Kennedy Club fame will be seen as the leading lady. Sharing a photo with them, Mugen Rao wrote on his Instagram space, “Happy to announce my movie title #Velan. shooting in progress and 1st look will be posted soon. Thanks to @kalaimagan20 sir #skymanfilmsinternational. Stay tuned”.

As far as his other film Vettri is concerned, the film will be helmed by Veppam director Anjana Ali Khan, and it will be produced by Shirdi Productions, who will be making their debut production venture. Mugen Rao's character's name in the film will also be Vettri. Mugen will be seen playing an Engineering college student. Mugen, who eventually became the title winner of Bigg Boss season - 3, captured the hearts of the audience with his charm and kindness. Though he received a lot of criticism for not having a control over his temperament, he slowly gained audiences’ love. Mugen was also one of the most famous contestants of the reality show.
