Bigil Box Office Collection Day 13: Vijay & Nayanthara starrer continues to dominate the overseas territories

Tamil film Bigil starring Thalapathy Vijay and Nayanthara is dominating the overseas territories since day one of its release. The Atlee directorial is ruling the ticket windows in the USA and other international markets. Interestingly, other Tamil film Kaithi, which released along with Bigil on October 25th, is also doing well internationally. The Vijay starrer has earned USD 1.15 Million in the USA and has become 2019 's no.2 Tamil film followed by Kaithi with USD 375K business. 

It has become highest grossing Tamil film of 2019 in Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, UAE/GCC, Norway and France. The sports-thriller entered Rs 200 crore club worldwide within a week of its release and is all set to touch Rs 300 crore mark at the box office in the coming days. Bigil, titled Whistle in Telugu also stars Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Yogi Babu, Amritha and Indhuja in crucial roles. This Thalapathy Vijay starrer is bankrolled by AGS Entertainment on a budget of Rs 180 crore.

Meanwhile, Bigil and Kaithi have the extra advantage of a free one-week run at the ticket windows as Dhruv Vikram's Adithya Varma has been postponed by a week. Adithya Varma is now releasing on November 21st. Well, now that Adithya Varma is releasing a week after the actual date, Tamil films Bigil and Kaithi have got an extra advantage to continue their strong run at the box office.
