Chiranjeevi’s Lucifer to be rolled out in February; See photos as makers launch the film with a formal pooja

It was revealed by music composer S Thaman yesterday that he started composing music for the Telugu remake of Malayalam film Lucifer. He shared a photo of Chiranjeevi and revealed the news. Last evening, it was revealed by Chiranjeevi’s team that the film was launched with a formal pooja which was also attended by the megastar himself. Photos from the event were also shared where Chiranjeevi was seen along with the film’s director Mohanraja and the others.

It was also revealed by the makers that the film’s shooting will be started from February. There are several reports that are making the rounds on social media regarding the film’s cast and crew. Hearsay has that Rana Daggubati and Vijay Deverakonda will appear in extended cameo roles in the film and Suhasini Mani Ratnam will be seen as Chiranjeevi’s sister. However, an official update regarding the other cast members is not revealed by the makers yet.

The original version of Lucifer had Mohanlal as the lead actor and it marked the directorial debut of Prithviraj Sukumaran. It had Manju Warrier as the leading lady, while Vivek Oberoi played the main antagonist. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Tovino Thomas played extended cameo in the film. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi will be next seen in Acharya. Helmed by Koratala Siva, Acharya has Kajal Aggarwal as the leading lady. The film’s shooting is going on at a brisk pace. It is expected that more updates regarding the film will be made by the makers soon.
