With the official title announcement, the makers have also confirmed that the film will serve as the first installment in a franchise, titled Om Chapter 1 – Edhiram: The Blood Wood.
Written and directed by Amaran fame Rajkumar Periasamy, the film features music composed by Sai Abhyankkar. Interestingly, the makers included a clever wordplay on the composer’s name, briefly presenting it as “iSai,” a nod to his popular online nickname, which translates to “music.”
