Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna's Dear Comrade is all set to hit the theatres this weekend. Given all the buzz that the Telugu film has managed to garner ever since the film was first annonced, looks like the movie has hit home. Yes, earlier today, Karan Johar met Deverakonda and confirmed that he has bought the rights for the official Bollywood remake and well, that's about that.

KJo posted, "Had the pleasure to be the first to see #dearcomrade ! What a powerful and intense love story !!! Top notch performances by @thedeverakonda and @rashmika_mandanna !! The film is exceptionally moving and leaves you with such an important and relevant message! Strongly directed by debut director @bharatkamma and wonderfully produced by @mythriofficial !! Exceptional music by #justinprabhakaran." And well, Rashmika seems to be extremely excited about it just like everyone else and took to social media to send out her thankyou! After Kabir Singh, this is going to be a second Vijay Deverakonda film that is being remade for Bollywood and we all know how did that workout. Kabir Singh has turned out to be a box office success and with this news, we might expect another hit in the making. What do you think? Drop in your comments below.

Gr8. It would be even fine, if one of these actors agree to do the Hindi version as well. That would be a brilliant move to bridge the gap between North and South.
