In an earlier interview, actor Dhanush had stated that working with Rajinikanth will be like a dream come true for him. In fact, he had said that even getting to stand behind the superstar, would be enough for him. Well this had fuelled up rumours that the two will soon be seen working together in their next project. Recently, there was also news about Dhanush shutting down his production house.

In a recent interview with Midday, the actor denied these rumours and said, “There is no truth to reports stating that our production house is shutting down. People have started speculating because we haven't announced any project. Many producers make one film in a year or two, that doesn't imply they are out of business. We are in the process of finalising a couple of scripts and will announce them soon. Hits and flops are part of any production house. We have had a decent run.”

The actor continued to share, “When there is no truth to the reports of our company being in losses, how can this be true? We would love to work with Rajini sir again, but unfortunately we aren't collaborating on anything now. If anything comes up, we'll definitely approach him.”

Meanwhile, Dhanush is riding high on the success of his film The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, an adventure comedy directed by Ken Scott.
